Tom's tasting notes

When I found out how bad seed oils are for you, when it came to making mayo, I started playing with alternatives. We tested both avocado oil and olive oil to see what worked best with our mayo. Surprise, surprise—we liked them both, but for completely different reasons. The olive oil added that something special and really lifted the standard mayo to taste like a proper chefs mayo —hence the name 'Slightly Posh', its like having your very own private chef!

Made simply with whole eggs, a blend of olive oils (for flavour), Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, lemon juice and season to taste—et voilà! What's not to love?!

Add some lemon zest to pick up a plain roast chicken, or some capers, cornichons, and chopped parsley for the best tartare sauce you've ever tasted. It really is a versatile beast, and we love it!

    Proper Mayonnaise

    This is the best tasting mayonnaise that I’ve ever tried ! It’s as rich and creamy as the label states and really adds a delicious extra to salads and all kinds of foods especially chips! It’s now a must have in my kitchen.
