Distinctively Greek Salad Dressing

Extra Virgin Olive Oil (45%), Red Wine Vinegar, Water, Chicory Root Fibre, Lemon Juice, Sea Salt, Black Pepper, Greek Oregano (0.3%).

Allergens: Produced in a facility that also handles Celery, Cereals containing Gluten, Egg, Fish, Milk, Mustard, Sesame, Soya and Sulphites.

Storage: Store in a cool, dry place. Once opened, keep refrigerated and use within 4 weeks. We recommend bringing to room temperature before serving.

This was the first dressing we started developing and the last one we cracked. Being married to a Greek, it was vital I got this right. My Greek family would be the first to let me know if I didn’t and approval came all the way from Thessaloniki by Yiayia herself. This is as authentic as it comes, made simply with the best oil we could find, red wine vinegar, salt & pepper to taste and a squeeze of lemon. The only thing that was missing was the Greek oregano - It’s not usually in the dressing but added directly to the salad. Most consumers, however, don’t have access to premium Greek oregano like we do, so the only way to get that authentic flavour was to add it in ourselves. It took some convincing to Yiayai that this was okay (we didn’t tell her about the added chicory Fibre for gut health as that would have been too much) but we got there in the end and got the recipe signed off - phew!! Pour right on top of your next Greek salad enjoy like you’re in a taverna. Yum.
