Fabulously French Salad Dressing

Extra Virgin Olive Oil (41%), Apple Cider Vinegar, Water, Dijon Mustard (Water, Mustard Seeds, Spirit Vinegar, Salt), Chicory Root Fibre, Lemon Juice, Sea Salt, Black Pepper, Thickener: Xanthan Gum.

Storage: Store in a cool, dry place. Once opened, keep refrigerated and use within 4 weeks. We recommend bringing to room temperature before serving.

When researching dressings, French was one of the first I started working on. I used to live in France and it was the French that taught me how simplicity was key when it comes to a good Vinaigrette. Perfect alongside grilled meat, this classic French dressing would be at home in any French Bistro. It’s tangy from the Dijon Mustard and white wine vinegar, rich from the amazing cold pressed Single Origin Extra Virgin Olive Oil, packed full of fibre from the chicory root (your gut will thank you more than a Parisian after you’ve held the door open for them!) and finished with salt and pepper - that’s it! Well, nearly - to keep the amazing emulsification you get with dressings when the oil is blended in slowly, we used a touch of science - a sprinkle of fermented corn starch (xanthum gum to the science nerds out there!!) It holds this beauty together like you can’t believe. Creamy and oh so oooh la laaaa! Enjoy on some leaves with a grilled steak to give your French inspired Tuesday dinner a makeover.
