This classic red sauce has one benchmark – taste link He**z, just without the sugar. We were so determined to make it taste like your nostalgic favourite, we refused to stop the development process until we nailed it. It took over 20 iterations to find a recipe we were comfortable with and just when we thought we nailed it, my 5-year-old, Alex, pointed out that version 14 was his favourite. 5-year-olds don’t lie! So that’s what we’ve launched with – version 14. Tangy but sweet, spicy but appropriately mild, and most importantly, full of the classic Tommy-k flavour!

Brown Sauce
No bacon butty would be complete without ** sauce (okay I’m aware asterisking a two-letter word is a bit odd – big up HP for making a banging brown sauce), so this product absolutely had to be on the cards. This one, however, was NOT easy. And when I say it wasn’t easy, it really wasn’t easy. Changing just 0.00001% of the recipe made all the difference. Every time we tested the recipe we went back and forth on how close it was. Fortunately, we are absolutely obsessed with finding the ultimate taste, so we kept at it and I’m proud to say we nailed it. The final product is version 14 of our development. Not quite as spicey as my initial favourite, version 19, but still packed full of flavour and smooth, mellow spice. The perfect partner for your bacon butty.
