A fu:di twist on the classic New York deli sandwich! This crunchy seeded crispbread is layered with creamy fu:di mayo with a punchy dollop of mustard, salty pastrami, creamy cheddar, and zingy pickles. The ultimate flavour bomb! Swap out your sandwich and enjoy as a light lunch or an indulgent mid-afternoon snack!
Ingredients
- 2 fu:di Norwegian Crispbreads
- 1 tsp French’s Classic Yellow Mustard
- 2 tbsp fu:di Mayo
- 4 slices Pastrami
- 2 cornichons, thinly sliced
- A couple of slices of cheddar cheese
- 2 good forkfuls of pickled sauerkraut
Let's Begin!
Build the Base
Step 1
In a small bowl, combine the mayo and mustard.
Step 2
Scatter over the sauerkraut and add two slices of pastrami on each crispbread.
Finish & Serve!
Step 3
Top with sliced cheddar cheese and the sliced cornichons. Add a final drizzle of fu:di Mayo for good measure!
Chef's Tip!
For a hot & melty version, place under a hot grill for a couple of minutes until the cheese bubbles. Want even more flavour? Add a sprinkle of cracked black pepper and smoked paprika for extra depth! 🚀
