Ingredients

  • 2 fu:di Norwegian Crispbreads (Original or Everything But The Bagel)
  • 4 tbsp cream cheese
  • 4 cornichons
  • 2 slices smoked salmon
  • 1 tsp capers, optional
  • A good forkful of pickled red onions (shop bought or homemade!)
  • 1 lemon
  • A few sprigs of dill
  • Sea salt & cracked black pepper, to taste

Let's Begin!

Whip the Cream Cheese

Step 1

Add the cream cheese to a small bowl with a pinch of salt and whip until smooth and creamy. Thinly slice the cornichons into rounds.

Layer the toppings!

Step 2

Spread a generous layer of the whipped cream cheese over each crispbread. Top with a slice of smoked salmon, then scatter the capers (if using), sliced cornichons, and pickled red onions over the top.

Finish & Serve!

Step 3

Add a good squeeze of lemon juice and top with a few rasps of lemon zest and picked dill. Finish with a twist of cracked black pepper.

Chef's Tip!

For an extra creamy texture, mix the cream cheese with a little fu:di Mayo before spreading 🙌
